ViennaLine is an Austrian eyewear brand founded in the 1950s by Wilhelm Anger, the visionary behind Carrera and the inventor of Optyl a lightweight, durable, and hypoallergenic plastic that revolutionised eyewear manufacturing. Known for its elegant and innovative designs, ViennaLine gained prominence in the 1960s and 1970s, thanks to designer Udo Proksch. The brand became a staple of European eyewear fashion.
